Serving employees of POF, Allied Deptts, FGEIs & retired POF employees can become the members of library.
Yes, you can visit the library after holding your CNIC at the entrance.

The library timings are as under:

Winter Timing (15th Oct to 14th Apr)

Mon - Thu & Sat: 0930 Hrs - 1700 Hrs

Sunday: 0800 Hrs - 1700 Hrs

Friday: Holiday

Summer Timing (15th Apr to 14th Oct)

Mon - Thu & Sat: 1030 Hrs - 1800 Hrs

Sunday: 0800 Hrs - 1700 Hrs

Friday: Holiday

A duplicate card can be obtained from Membership Section of the library.
POF Central Library allows borrowing facility to members only, however a non-member can use the resources within library premises.
Foods and drinks are not allowed in the library.
Donations of selected books, money etc. are accepted in the library.
Yes, the library provides free Computer, Internet & Wi-Fi facility to researchers and students.
Yes, this facility is available in e-Section.

Yes, you can use your laptop in POF Central Library..

All the periodicals and newspapers are kept in the Periodical Section.
The facility of the full-text books is not available online.
All kinds of reference queries are welcomed via letters, telephones or emails and given the best response.
All members and non-members can do research in the library.
The facility of training courses is not available.
Please write down the call number of the required books on slip, then this slip may be given to the circulation desk and get the same after few minutes.

At present 34 magazines are being subscribed.
Yes, members can fill a form available at Acquisition Section.
There are 50,000 books available in the library.
