Established in 1984 by the Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) as a social welfare initiative, the POF Central Library serves as a hub for education and information, primarily catering to POF employees and residents of WahCantt. The library is housed in an impressive two-story building, located prominently on Quaid Avenue, with a view of the iconic Jamia Mosque. The library is a treasure trove of resources designed to inspire and empower its visitors. With an impressive collection of 58,000 books and current periodicals, it caters to diverse interests and research needs. Special Corners of Seerat-un-Nabi and Iqbal are established to foster a deeper understanding of these luminaries, enriching the knowledge and values of the library’s visitors. Equipped with 18 computers and seamless internet & Wi-Fi access, library offers access to E-Library and digital resources in a modern digital environment for learning and exploration.
